Wind&Waves will take place from 31 July to 9 August at El Cabezo Beach in El Médano. This event will once again bring together the international windsurfing elite in Tenerife with the PWA/WWT Open, Junior and Masters World Championships being held there for the third consecutive year. El Médano is once again in the global spotlight for windsurfing.

The eighth edition of the Caña Solidaria will take place on 26 and 27 June 2026 in Plaza de El Médano (Tenerife). Organised by the NGO Solidarios Canarios, the festival aims to raise funds for educational and healthcare projects in The Gambia (particularly in the village of Jalo Koto). It is one of the largest charity festivals in the Canary Islands and is back stronger than ever.
