Pope Leo XIV will visit Tenerife on Friday 12 June 2026. This stopover forms part of his Apostolic Journey to Spain and will focus primarily on social work, welcoming migrants and a mass attended by large crowds in the island’s capital.

09:10: Arrival at Tenerife North Airport.
09:30: Institutional meeting and visit to migrants at the Las Raíces Reception Centre.
10:10: Meeting on integration and social issues in the Plaza del Cristo in San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
12:15: Holy Mass in the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
14:30: Farewell ceremony and subsequent return to Rome.
